Who is Blarney Yarn?

She is a fiber artist and he is a wood craftsman, who together formed the Blarney Yarn while at the same time studying environmental psychology in graduate school. Our real joy is turning quality animal fibers into beautiful handspun yarns and handknitted garments. Being hands on is our priority. She dyes and spins the fibers. He turns quality wood into the many gadgets handspinners need. After she spun her third mile of yarn, and he turned his umpteenth niddy noddy, we needed to open a shop to give other yarn junkies access to our stuff. The Blarney Yarn is this shop, owned and operated in the U.S.A., but inspired by the eloquent and skillful knitting heritage of Ireland.
